Mr. Mofizur Rahman is a prominent entrepreneur and media personality in Bangladesh. He serves as Chairman of Paradise Land Development & Housing Limited, Chairman of Kingfisher Cox’s Bay Limited, and Vice Chairman of Citizen Builders Limited. He is also a Director of Eastern Cable Limited (ECL) and Proprietor of Amity International. Beyond business, he contributes to social development as Secretary General of the Bangladesh Peace and Progressive Foundation and plays an important role in journalism as the Publisher of Daily Sarabela.
Mr. Mofizur Rahman was born in a respectable Muslim family in the traditional village of Dashbaha in Gunbati Union of Chauddagram Upazila of Comilla District. He grew up in Chittagong as his father was a government employee of Bangladesh Railway. He has obtained a Postgraduate (MA) degree in Social Welfare. He is involved in many socio-cultural organizations. Mr. Mofizur Rahman is a Permanent Member of Gulshan North Club and a life member of Barisal Club. He is the founder secretary of a traditional socio-cultural organization “Bangladesh Peace and Progressive Foundation”, the founder president of which was former Chief Election Commissioner Justice Md. Abdur Rouf.
Mr. Mofizur Rahman has already traveled to various countries including USA, Russia, Turkey, Qatar, Saudi KSA, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, India, and Bhutan several times for various business needs and to attend seminars and symposiums of International Forums.
As a philanthropist, Mr. Rahman recognized the growing housing needs of Dhaka city and driven by this vision, initiated well-planned township projects on the outskirts of the capital to provide sustainable and affordable living solutions.
Over the period from 2026 to 2028, the real estate market is projected to grow at an annual rate of 1.98%, reaching an estimated market volume of US$3.53 trillion by 2028. In line with this growth, Mr. Rahman aims to actively contribute to the expanding market by introducing state-of-the-art real estate townships, residential apartments, and commercial developments. Through these initiatives, he seeks to capture a substantial market share while making a meaningful contribution to Bangladesh’s GDP and overall economic development.
